Monprene®

Monprene® belongs to the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material family and is a versatile material that mainly includes styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) and styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS), but also thermoplastic vulcanisates (TPV) and thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO).

Monprene® is highly flexible and can be adapted to specific aesthetic and functional requirements. The material’s properties are characterised by high elasticity and a wide range of hardness. It has a light natural colour that is easy to colour to the desired shade.

Monprene® TPE has good resistance to most household chemicals and can be used across a wide temperature range. Monprene® TPE is available in grades approved for contact with skin and food.

Monprene® TPE is well suited for consumer products, packaging and industrial applications with requirements such as sealing properties.
