TPV

TPV is a family of thermoplastic elastomers in which the EPDM elastomer in the material is dynamically vulcanised and dispersed as small particles in a PP matrix. The vulcanised elastomer gives TPV materials property improvements such as higher heat resistance and lower compression set than TPE. These materials can therefore be used in more demanding applications in industries such as automotive and construction. TPV materials can be processed by the most common methods such as injection moulding and extrusion. They can advantageously be recycled.
