Andreas Ullman joined Erteco Tech Center in August as Application Development Engineer. In his role, he supports customers with material selection, testing and application development, helping them find practical solutions to technical challenges.
To get to know Andreas better, we asked him a few questions about his role and first impressions of Erteco.
What attracted you to Erteco and the role as Application Development Engineer?
I was really drawn to the mix of technology, problem-solving, and customer interaction. It feels like a role where I can keep learning every day while working with exciting materials and applications.
What will your main responsibilities be at Erteco Tech Center?
I’ll be supporting customers with material selection, testing, and application development, as well as helping solve technical challenges.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I’m looking forward to learning from my colleagues, working on different projects, and getting to know our customers.
What do you think makes Tech Center an important resource for our customers?
Tech Center combines technical expertise with hands-on support, helping customers develop better products and solve challenges faster.
What has been your first impression of Erteco and your new colleagues?
My first impression has been great. Everyone has been very welcoming, helpful, and passionate about what they do, which makes me even more excited to join the team.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, following football and playing golf. I’m also naturally curious, so I enjoy learning new things whenever I get the chance.
