NORYL PPX™ Resin

NORYL PPX™ Resin successfully combines the good properties of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polypropylene (PP). This results in a material with very good chemical resistance and processability from PP, and thermal performance, stiffness and surface hardness from PPE.

Reinforced variants of NORYL PPX™ Resin are characterised by higher stiffness and heat resistance over time. Chemical resistance is excellent, and the material shows little or no impact when in contact with cleaning agents, acids and bases.

Hydrolysis stability is excellent, with a water absorption among the lowest of all common thermoplastics.

NORYL PPX™ Resin is highly compatible with thermoplastic elastomers and is used in applications such as automotive components and water and sanitation systems.
