NORYL GTX™ Resin

NORYL GTX™ Resin is a blend consisting of the polymers polyamide (PA) and polyphenylene ether (PPE). This makes it possible to combine properties such as chemical resistance and flow of polyamide with dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and heat resistance of PPE.

The result of blending these polymers is a material characterised by extremely good chemical resistance, stiffness and impact toughness. There are variants of NORYL™ GTX developed for on-line painting, which is also possible thanks to its high heat resistance.

The low density of unfilled NORYL™ GTX materials offers weight reduction of up to 25% compared to glass or mineral-filled materials.
Thanks to its distinguishing properties, the material is well suited for applications such as body parts in the automotive industry.
