SABIC® PP Compound

SABIC® PP compound is a material based on polypropylene (PP) that has been modified with, among other things, mineral fillers, glass fibre and additives to achieve the desired properties. Typical improvements achieved through these modifications are mechanical properties such as strength, stiffness and impact toughness. The haptic feel of the materials can also be changed. Otherwise, the typical PP properties are retained, such as very good chemical resistance and low density compared to other filled materials.

SABIC PP Compound is offered with different filler levels and also with flame retardancy.

SABIC® PP Compound is well suited for application areas such as automotive applications, furniture and water pumps.
