Grilamid Tr®

Grilamid TR is an amorphous transparent thermoplastic. Thanks to its composition, the material combines the excellent properties of semi-crystalline PA 12 with the properties of an amorphous thermoplastic, making the material unique.

The material’s main properties are high transparency, good chemical resistance, low density, low moisture absorption and heat resistance.

Grilamid TR is a high-value polymer that also combines several other good properties, such as stiffness and impact toughness. Through modifications, additional specific properties can be achieved that can provide almost unlimited possibilities and areas of use.

Typical areas of use for Grilamid TR are within optics and medical technology.
