Acrypet

Acrypet (PMMA) is a transparent, glass-clear thermoplastic. The material has a hard surface and is characterised by properties such as good dimensional stability and light transmission. Polymethyl methacrylate is sometimes loosely referred to as “plexiglass”. It has very good scratch resistance, UV resistance and is easy to colour. Compared to polycarbonate, the material is less impact-resistant. The material is used in several application areas such as within the automotive and electronics industries.

Acrypet is suitable for products such as lighting, building materials, sanitary ware, household appliances, bicycles and automotive interior components where transparency and scratch resistance are essential properties.
