PC/PET

PC/PET is a blend of polycarbonate (PC) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is a transparent material with the option to colour in both transparent and opaque colours.

With this blend, chemical resistance is significantly improved compared to pure polycarbonate. This makes the material very useful in areas such as medical devices and household products where resistance to cleaning and disinfection agents is essential to ensure hygiene and sterility.

  • Good impact strength
  • Easy to colour
  • Very good chemical resistance compared to PC
  • Improved resistance to stress cracking compared to PC
  • Lower processing temperature than PC
