LNP™ THERMOTUF™ compound

LNP™ THERMOTUF™ is a group of materials that, by adding additives to different thermoplastics, can create higher impact toughness, stiffness, heat resistance and dimensional stability.

Thermotuf is well suited for a wide range of thermoplastics such as polycarbonate (PC), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polypropylene (PP) and polyamides (PA). These materials are often blended with reinforcing additives such as carbon fibre, glass fibre and mineral fillers to achieve the desired properties.

With THERMOTUF™, material properties can be improved so that they better withstand influences such as mechanical shock, elevated temperatures and the effect of chemicals.

THERMOTUF™ is available with flame retardancy that also includes halogen-free materials, and can be obtained in a range of opaque colours.
