PC/PET is a blend of polycarbonate (PC) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and is a transparent material that comes in opaque and colored variants.
This blend has a significantly improved chemical resistance as compared to pure PC. Thus, this material is very useful in areas such as medical technology and household products, where there are requirements on resistance to detergents and disinfectants for hygiene and sterilization reasons.
