XYLEX Resin is a transparent material which is a compound of polycarbonate (PC) and amorphous polyester. The material is characterized by properties such as good resistance to chemicals, excellent resistance to stress cracking, high impact resistance, and lower processing temperatures as compared to pure polycarbonate.
The material is transparent, and difficult to distinguish from window glass. It is also very resistant to many categories of weather conditions, and has high UV resistance, ensuring a long lifespan in outdoor environments.
Common application areas include, among other things, electronics, household products, and household appliances.
