VALOX Resin is a family of semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester resins that are based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) or compounds of PBT/polyethylene terephthalate (PET) polymers.
The materials are characterized by very good electrical properties, high resistance to chemicals, and good performance across a wide temperature range. They exist in a great number of variants, developed in order to particularly excel with regard to mechanical strength, flame-retardancy, and aesthetic surface quality, for example.
VALOX Resin is used for a wide variety of different applications. The most common are in E&E and the automotive industry, and in products such as household appliances, switches, and connectors.
VALOX Resin is suitable for processing through both injection molding and extrusion blow molding.
