Switch® is a plant-based material from Trifilon. The material is a starch-based polyester reinforced with hemp fibers for enhanced mechanical properties such as rigidity and strength. The base material in Switch® is produced from starch derived from sources including sugar beets and corn. Trifilon Switch® is naturally fully recyclable and, when conditions regarding heat and moisture are met, it is also industrially compostable if needed.
