Sarlink belongs to the thermoplastic elastomer (TPV) material family. Thanks to the elastomer part of the material being crosslinked, it is very well suited to applications which require good performance at high temperatures for long periods of time.
Sarlink TPV is commonly used in the automotive and construction industries, and for industrial applications. It is suitable for use in applications such as sealing systems, HVAC, plumbing, roofing products, and industrial tubes and hoses.
The material is characterized by good UV and ozone resistance, good elastic properties, matte finish, long-term performance, and high flexibility at low temperatures, among other things.
Sarlink TPV can be processed using both extrusion and injection molding.
Processing the material is cost-effective and it is possible to upcycle, making it an excellent alternative to vulcanized rubber.
