NBR Nipol

Nipol® NBR is an elastomer produced by emulsion polymerisation of 1,3-butadiene and acrylonitrile.

There is a wide range of Nipol® NBR elastomers. The acrylonitrile content determines the material’s oil resistance, abrasion resistance and heat stability.

Nipol® NBR compounds are characterised by the following properties:

– Wide temperature range, from -40°C to 125°C (up to 150°C for short exposures)
– Good oil and fuel resistance
– High mechanical strength
– Excellent physical properties

Nipol® NBR is used in a wide variety of applications, such as hoses and seals.
