Natural rubber can be used in many different kinds of applications. 40% of all the rubber used in industry originates from the rubber tree, Hevea brasiliensis. To fully exploit all of natural rubber’s potential advantages, knowledge and qualified expertise are required. Weber & Schaer works closely with a wide network of selected rubber producers, and through regular communication with the producers we secure the quality level of the natural rubber while at the same time gaining direct insight into ongoing and completed new developments.

Our extensive stockholding of the entire range of NR products secures for customers the absolutely necessary availability of this natural product. Production is constantly exposed to seasonal fluctuations and, in addition, a transport time of 4–5 weeks is required before arrival in Europe.
