LNP™ STAT-LOY™ compound

LNP™ STAT-LOY™ is a material family with antistatic properties that contains other additives than carbon black and carbon fibre, and can therefore be obtained in a wide range of colours. Both opaque and transparent colours can be offered. To further improve the mechanical properties, LNP™ STAT-LOY™ can be combined with reinforcing additives such as glass fibre.

By combining a polymer with inherent conductivity and an insulating thermoplastic, permanent antistatic performance can be obtained. Several different thermoplastics, such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyacetal (POM) and polyamides (PA), can be used and depend on the end product’s requirements.

Using STAT-LOY™ Compound is a very cost-effective solution when antistatic applications are required. The materials offer a broad range of surface resistivity from 109 to 1012 ohm/sq.

STAT-LOY™ can be processed by injection moulding, extrusion or blow moulding.
