Using masterbatches is a smooth and cost-effective way to colour plastic products or enhance other properties of the plastic material.

Masterbatch is therefore a very cost-effective way to colour plastic, because the polymer can be coloured during the manufacturing process itself, before the product has taken its final shape. Through different manufacturing methods, such as injection moulding, you get a coloured plastic product while avoiding many post-processing steps.

Another advantage is that you avoid buying pre-coloured plastic material, which can be very costly, especially in small quantities. Using masterbatch also gives you more flexibility in your choice of colour, because you can choose the colouring yourself during the process according to your own wishes. Economically, it is an advantageous method as it can be used even for smaller volumes.

Color-Service offers custom colours as well as RAL, Pantone and NCS colours.

The pigments possess the most important technical basic parameters, such as thermal stability and light resistance. All colour pigments are physiologically safe and approved for use in the food industry. The pigments contain neither cadmium, lead nor diaryl pigments and can be used in combination with a wide range of polymers. The masterbatches also have a long shelf life because they are solvent-free.

The material is suitable for uses such as within the automotive, furniture and packaging industries.
