Grilon®

Grilon is the common trade name for the PA6, PA66 and PA66/6 material families from EMS-Grivory. The different Grilon grades vary depending on the base polymer. Grade properties are also affected by different compositions such as reinforcing fillers or additives to modify the material’s properties.

Typical properties of Grilon polyamides are high strength and stiffness, good wear and friction properties, high chemical resistance and good electrical properties.

Common production methods in the plastics industry, such as injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding, are all very well suited for Grilon.

Thanks to its properties, Grilon polyamides have several different areas of use, for example within the automotive industry.
