VANFRE AP-2 Special, VANFRE VAM
VANFRE VAM is an ether phosphate, and VANFRE AP-2 Special is a blend of metallic stearates and waxes. Both are effective as both internal and external processing aids for acrylic rubber. Roughly 1 phr is a common additive level.
Both products have no or only marginal effect on the mechanical properties of the material.
They reduce the viscosity, increase the fluidity, and improve the surface finish of extruded, compression-molded, and calendered rubber products. They have also proven to have a good effect on the dispersing of both fillers and other additives.
