SABIC PP Compounds are materials based on polypropylene (PP), and have been modified with e.g. mineral fillers, fiberglass, and additives to achieve the desired properties. Typical improvements that can be achieved through these modifications relate to mechanical properties such as strength, rigidity, and impact resistance. In addition, the tactile feel of the material can be altered. The typical properties of PP, such as good chemical resistance and low density as compared to other filled materials, are retained.
