NORYL PPX Resin successfully combines the advantageous properties of polyphenyl ether (PPE) and polypropylene (PP). This results in a material that has inherited very good chemical resistance and workability from PP, and thermal performance, rigidity, and surface hardness from PPE.
Reinforced variants of NORYL PPX are characterized by higher rigidity and heat resistance over time. The material has excellent chemical resistance and displays little or no negative effects when it comes into contact with detergents, acids, and bases.
It has excellent hydrolytic stability and among the lowest water absorption of all existing thermoplastics.
NORYL PPX is highly compatible with thermoelastomers, and is used in applications such as vehicle components and water and sanitation systems.
