We are happy to introduce Patrik Andersson, who joined Erteco on January 12th, 2026. Patrik will be situated in Höganäs, southern Sweden, and will work as a Technical & Business Development Specialist.
Patrik has around 20 years of experience in the Masterbatch business. He started his career in production and has worked his way through roles in Quality Control, Mechanical Testing, lab work, and technical support. Before joining Erteco, he worked as a Lab Manager and Business Developer.
To get to know Patrik better, we asked him a few questions about his role and first impressions of Erteco.
- What are you looking forward to working with at Erteco?
I’m looking forward to the new challenge that my role brings and to contributing with my many years of experience and knowledge. Together with the newly formed team at Erteco, I’m confident we will deliver the best solutions to our customers. And of course, I’m also looking forward to getting to know my new colleagues better.
- What will your main duties be at Erteco?
My main duties will be to help grow the Masterbatch and Additives segment together with my team and to support the entire sales organization with my experience and knowledge.
- You have previous experience working in the industry. How do you think this experience could benefit Erteco?
With close to 20 years of experience covering production, quality control, mechanical testing, color development, and technical support, I’ve seen every part of what’s needed to produce masterbatches. You could say it’s in my DNA. This kind of experience is quite rare in the industry, and I’m sure it will be a benefit to Erteco.
- You have worked at Erteco since January 2026. What is your first impression of the workplace and your colleagues?
During my first week, I joined the winter meeting where I met many of my colleagues. What stood out immediately was the strong culture and sense of togetherness. Everyone is included, and the team spirit was really something you could feel. I felt welcome from day one!
- When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, working on the house, and occasionally training at my local CrossFit gym. I’m also a big sports fan, and my biggest passion is following Arsenal. I was happy to discover that I already have some fellow Gooners at Erteco! 😉
- What’s a hidden talent or hobby people might not know about you?
Every Wednesday, some friends and I take part in a pub quiz. If you ever need someone with strong knowledge in pop culture, films, and rock music — I’m your guy!
