PPA has very good mechanical properties and high stiffness when reinforced with glass fiber. In many cases, the polymer can replace metals in applications where materials such as aluminum or brass are normally used. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PPA is used in many industries, but most commonly in electronics, plumbing, and the automotive industry. The polymer can be used, for example, to manufacture under-the-hood automotive components such as fuel lines, thermostat housings, coolant pumps, and valves. PPA is also used to produce components for coffee machines and pumps. There are also flame-retardant variants used in electric vehicle and electronics applications.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Main properties:<\/span>\n<\/p>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Excellent thermal properties<\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">High stiffness<\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Very good mechanical and electrical properties <\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Glass transition temperature of 126\u00b0 C <\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Melting point of just over 300\u00b0 C<\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Good chemical resistance to oils and aliphatic hydrocarbons (less resistant to strong acids)<\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Relatively low moisture absorption<\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">High tensile strength<\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">High resistance to creep<\/span><\/li>\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Good wear and friction properties<\/span><\/li>                <\/div>\n            \n                    \n        \n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"parent":2356,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2529","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.9 (Yoast SEO v27.9) -
