The materials are also characterised by high hydrolysis resistance and very good impact toughness combined with high elongation \u2013 especially compared to other technical materials with similar stiffness.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grilamid FWA is approved for direct contact with drinking water and food. The materials meet the requirements of the most important standards in Europe and North America: WRAS, ACS, KTW, NSF and FDA.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The materials are available unfilled and with glass fibre reinforcement between 30\u201365 %. The reinforced materials are suitable for metal replacement and have been developed to replace costly metals and other high-performance polymers.
