\n PVDF <\/h1>\n \n

PVDF stands for polyvinylidene fluoride and is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic belonging to the family of fluoropolymers.<\/p>\n\n

PVDF is a very stiff and strong material with good thermal stability. It also has high UV resistance and can be used both indoors and outdoors.<\/p>\n\n

PVDF has a broad range of uses, but is typically used for applications that require good resistance to either temperature differences or strong chemicals. Examples of industries where PVDF is often used are medical, chemical, aerospace or food.<\/p>\n\n

Some of the most common uses of PVDF are the manufacture of gears, valves, hoses, piping systems, filters, pump housings, bushings or pumps. It is also approved for food contact. In addition, PVDF is often used to insulate electrical cables, being a flexible material with high heat resistance, low density and low conductivity.<\/p>\n\n
