\n PEEK <\/h1>\n \n
\n

PEEK stands for polyether ether ketone and is the only thermoplastic that can be used at temperatures up to 300\u00b0 C. This semi-crystalline polymer is therefore the highest-performing among commercial thermoplastics.<\/p>\n\n

PEEK is used in demanding applications across many industries, including medical devices and the automotive industry. It is also suitable for the electronics and machinery sectors. Common uses of PEEK are sliding rails, seals, bushings, roller bearings, gears and insulation materials.<\/p>\n\n

  • Melting temperature of 343 \u00b0C<\/li>\n\n
  • Withstands high thermal load<\/li>\n\n
  • Flame retardant without any additives<\/li>\n\n
  • Excellent hydrolysis resistance<\/li>\n\n
  • Low smoke emission upon combustion<\/li>\n\n
  • Good wear resistance and low friction coefficient<\/li>\n\n
  • Excellent mechanical properties<\/li>\n\n
  • High radiation resistance<\/li>\n\n
  • Glass transition temperature of 143 \u00b0C<\/li>\n\n
