Depending on which thermoplastic the materials are based on, they are characterized by very good mechanical, physical, and/or thermal properties. Different additives, such as carbon black, carbon fiber, and stainless steel fibers, are used to achieve a wide range of surface resistivities (from 100 to 1012 ohms/sq). With regard to conductivity a wide array of variants is available, ranging from ones that dissipate static electricity to ones that conduct electricity.

LNP STAT-KON is often used in products in which the gathering or discharge of static electricity is to be avoided, as the materials are anti-static and provide protection from electromagnetic interference (EMI). Examples of application areas are protecting electronic equipment and products for use in fuel systems.

LNP STAT-KON is only available in black, and can be processed through injection, extrusion, and blow molding with excellent results.

["post-21424","material-plast","type-material-plast","status-publish","hentry
["GET
