Black Bear Carbon was founded in 2010 in the Netherlands, and provides a climate-smart solution in which worn-out tires are upcycled and reused to make products such as new tires, technical rubber products, plastics, and paint.
Through innovative solutions, the company has also found methods for manufacturing high-quality and environmentally friendly carbon black using tires. Black Bear Carbon collaborates with companies that upcycle tires, and then offers their products as raw materials for the industry. The production of carbon black also involves the generation of green energy.
Black Bear Carbon’s long-term goals are to decrease oil usage and carbon-dioxide emissions.
