Special-purpose rubbers

The chemical structures of special-purpose rubbers are designed to meet requirements relating to one or more factors unique to the environment in which a product is to be used. These can include mineral oils, harsh outdoor environments, exposure to intense UV light, high ozone content, moisture or chemicals. Special-purpose rubbers are used and produced in large volumes on the market, primarily in the construction and automotive sectors.
